We recently made our annual trek to Cook's Christmas Tree Farm. In the Spirit of
Christmas we killed a tree, flung the dead carcass on the roof of the Jeep
and carried it home to be decorated. Artificial Christmas trees just
don't have the right smell and feel, so we need a real tree to decorate.
Cook's is a great place to shop. They have plenty of beautiful fragrant trees
to choose from and a very friendly and helpful staff. Plus you get
the thrill of the hunt and the kill! Very Primal. What better way to get
into the Christmas mood? We have been there
when it was bitter cold and in snow but this was the first time there in rain
and mud. It is a fun place just to hike around in the trees even if you don't
kill one and bring it home.
