While there, I spent time searching for waterfalls. Waterfalls in North Carolina seem to be much harder to find than the ones in Tennessee. I ended up buying a copy of "Waterfalls of North Carolina" which I highly recommend if you are looking for waterfalls there.

I will be posting a story soon about the Road to Nowhere. I meet a young lady while in North Carolina who sent me the story about this forgotten road. She told me a story about the ghost that haunts the incomplete tunnel at the end of the road. If you have any interesting ghosts stories or any travel stories you would like to share please send them to me.

I rode the train from Dillsboro to Bryson city passing the sites where they filmed scenes form the movie the Fugitive. When I got home I had to get a copy of the DVD to see how the area looked in the movie and compare to my own pictures
